Loved both the characters and how their feelings develop. But the "first love" subplot is a bit too dull tbh. They did not need it to fall in love, not at all.
Also the ending was too rushed (all condensed in 1 last chapter) as if the story was cancelled. Actually the political battle for the throne is just ignored, that part of the story does not have a proper ending.

A pair of cutiesExplicit but sweet.
A short story which leaves a nice aftertaste.
Just two nice guys who fall in love thru their physical intimacy.

Unserious and cutePretty simple plot, but it's quite funny.

Hilarious!Loving it so far.
They are ALL so funny. Not just the MC, but all of them have fully-fleshed personalities expressed in the most extreme ways. Each scene is a lil' joke, and you'll laugh your ass off.
No romance in the first 5 chapters, but it looks like that's about to change.

Deep dramaSad and heartbreaking. People living tough lives in tough times.
Being a prostitute has never been a walk in the park, and it's not romanticized in any way.
One-sided loved can crush your hopes, and when hope is the only thing you have... it will also crush your soul.
Yet this is beautifully depicted. Art is gorgeous.

Ok storyThis review contains spoilers. Nothing problematic with this title, but I am not a fan of the I-have-loved-you-since-you-were-a-kid (specially in the even-though-you-don't-know-me version). For me it would have worked better if they had just met for the first time in the present.
If you like this trope you'll probably enjoy this title very much.

HeartwarmingNOT an enemies-to-lovers, for some reason I thought it would be.
Shimizu just admires his boss Ueno professionally, although Ueno is always distant with everyone.
When the boss becomes a little kid, their relationship suddenly changes - because Ueno needs the help Shimizu is willing to offer. He'll be growing a bit everyday, and in the meantime Shimizu's feelings grow into something more and Ueno's past is revealed.
The pace is impecable, both characters are likeable, drama is kept to a minimum and consent is present (yay!).

The central topic is 'men who cook'.

P&P adaptationAs a P&P fan, I'd say nothing beats the book. Charming witty Elisabeth is a great heroine, who is both nice and bold (not a balance often achieved).
Adaptations require making changes, so although this feels a bit rushed in many aspects I'd say it fits the manga style pretty well so I'd give it a good overall score.
But if you liked it, consider:
- reading the book (which is awesome)
- watching the 90s miniseries with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth (best adaptation imho)
- watching YouTube series titled The Lizzy Bennet Diaries (best modern adaptation for my taste, and also each episode is super short... you'll binge them!)

Cute and fast-pacedThe (awful) title does not make it justice.
The story is cliché, but it's still a nice read. The end is a bit rushed though.

They guy she likes is AS OLD AS HER OWN FATHER. Which, in his defense, seems to bother him. At least at first.
In brief:
This is not for me. Large age gaps which involve minors make me quite uncomfortable.
If you're ok with them, maybe you'd enjoy this.
